<p>Thank you for using QIC Ocean Parcel Service.</p>
<p>This is a reminder for customers with Unaccompanied Baggage sent by using our Ocean Parcel service.. (If you have already done with the unaccompanied baggage declaration, please disregard this e-mail.)</p>
<p><strong>[Unaccompanied Baggage Declaration]</strong></p>
<p>When you have unaccompanied baggage, two copies of a written declaration are required to be submitted at the time of your entry to Japan. The declaration forms are handed out on Airplane by airline attendants. You must obtain two forms and fill out both of them with the same information required. At the customs you submit both completed forms and one of which will be returned to you with the seal of certification by a customs officer. Once you arrived at your destination in Japan (where you provided us as your ship to address), please forward followings:</p>
<ul>
<li><strong>One stamped declaration card.</strong></li>
<li><strong>Copy of Passport where your photo and passport # is shown</strong></li>
<li><strong>Copy of passport page where Japanese customs officer stamped your departure from Japan (This is only required to returning resident of Japan)</strong></li>
<li><strong>Copy of your passport where the Japanese customs officer stamped your entry</strong></li>
</ul>

<p>This declaration is necessary to ensure duty and/or tax exemption status of your Baggage. If the declaration is not done, your baggage can be imposed by taxation according to the customs act of Japan.</p>
<p>Also, please note that if you have baggage sent by mail or other services, you are required to include them on your declaration.</p>
